- My Sassy Girl.. An abosolute fabulous romantic show. Ya, I know that its a very old show, but i intend to give it a try since i havent watch it yet. Now I know why it was so popular back then...
This movie talks mainly about fate, how a guy met a girl in unexpected situations, and how fate brings them together. They started to developed feelings for each other, but during this 1 yr that they are together, the girl could not forget her deceased ex-boyfriend. And somehow, the guy knew it. Also during these times, the girl's parents could not accept the social status of the guy as the girl belong to the higher class (meaning her family is richer). Somehow, both of them know that they could not be together. So they decided to let each other have a cooldown period to think about the relationship. Both of them wrote a letter to each other (sealed in a envelope), and kept it in a time capsule, and promised each other to meet up two years later to open and read it...
Two years later, the guy came but the girl didnt. The girl came on the third yr, cos she still need time to think about it. And at that location where they promised to meet up, the girl met an old man who told her how this guy is still concerned for her. She also read the letter he wrote and was touched. By now, both of them wanted to be together, but the guy had changed his phone number and was uncontactable. It seems that it end here. But it didnt. They met up again when they met up with the boy's auntie (also the girl's deceased exboyfriend's mum). Ok.. it seems very complicated, but theres actually meaning behind it. They were supposed to be introduced to each other by the guy's auntie thru a blind date, but instead, something happened and they get to know each other thru a very unexpected way. This actually implies that fate has been with them right from the very beginning, and there's no way that they can avoid it. That why there's this saying:
其实是命运为你和你爱的人搭起一座桥

But too bad, this story is more like a fairy tale, and it would never happen in real life..
