I've got a friend who's been so depressed with his love life that he wanted to commit suicide.. really. Its been four years since he and his girlfriend started seeing each other. They met at a mosque and started going out with each other for four years.. The boy always give a 'tired', 'bo chap' attitude/face when they talk.. And the girl always try very hard to grab his attention..

The girl's parents started to matchmake her with other guys and force the girl to get into an engagement. They forced her not to see my friend anymore cos they dun really like him.. My friend, on the hand, loved her so much that he is not willing to let her go.. But he is also too poor to get into an engagement..

Just one month, she met another guy who is able to touch her heart. This guy like her, and is intending to get into an engagement with her.. Now this girl also has likings for him.. but was confused over the relationship between her and my friend..

Theres peer pressure everywhere from her family and current bf.. and its like she been forcing herself to accept the engagement.. My friend has been trying very hard to win her back, and it did succeed in a way.. cos she's now confused whether to go back to my friend, or carry on with her current bf.. That's actually a gd sign cos that shows that my friend still has a place in her heart..

I did gave my friend some advice and pointers on how to improve the situation, but in the end, the decision is still made by the girl herself.. I just hope my friend is prepared to let her go..

With every love story that i heard each day, im more and more positive that i do not want to get involved in a relationship anymore.. It just sucks.. TOTALLY!
