- I was on the bus on my way back to camp when i finally release that being single is not the solution to put an ending to all the sufferings that people have been going thru when they break up from a relationship...
I remembered my friend once told me that there is no point getting involved in a relationship unless u're 100% sure that he or she will be ur other half for the rest of ur life..and i mean 100% not 99.99%...
I agree with what she said. I mean, that is a way to protect urself from getting hurt in a relationship, isnt it? Why get urself hurt when u already know wats coming? Why get involved in a relationship that u know wouldnt work out? Humans are interesting creatures...
I mean, even animals know how to protect themselves from getting hurt, so we humans, being more advanced and intelligent creatures, shld be able to figure it out too...
Ok.. The first try or the first relationship is always understandable and forgiven cos human like to try things out and learn from our experience.. But if he try for a second relationship without much comfirmation that it will work out really really well, then he hasnt learnt from his experience. I would say that he is just bashing into another relationship and in the end, he'll definately get hurt..
Hmm.. ok.. human do change rite? So wat if both parties loved each very much at the start of the relationship, but as the years goes by, their relationship dampens? Whichever parties vault it may be, a relationship needs lots of time and effort contributed by both parties.. and if one party give lesser than the other, a relationship could just give way like that, be it a 1 month relationship, or a 20 years relationship..
So.. after talking soo much crap.. i hope u understand that if u want to get into a realtionship,
1. make sure that u want him or her to be ur lifetime partner with NO regrets
2. make sure that he or she is willing to sacrifice as much as u r willing to sacrifice for him/her.
3. make sure that once u got into a realtionship, DONT EVER GET OUT! cos if u do, someone's gonna get hurt.
PS. U may not agree with wat i wrote, cos everyone got different opinion.. and that includes U! And im writing this post just to purely convince and remind myself.. So dun get mistaken.. :)
